Welcome to my world of horses and my huge passion i have for them.
Riding since i was two years old and growing up watching and grooming for my mum at shows, putting jumps up that were taller than me in the middle of chaotic collecting rings. Made me understand and appreciate the amount of work you have to put into these animals to get the results you want.
Being a member of the South Herts Pony club from the age of 7 competing in the dressage and show jumping teams. Then at the age of 14 i changed pony clubs and joined the Enfield Chase to join the Prince Phillip Cup teams as well as the show jumping and playing at Tetrathalon, such fun we had.
At 16 i left home and moved to Northampton to take my BHS exams, i passed stage1, stage2 and stage3 care/management and riding in under a year but having had to be 20 years old to take my stage4, i wasn't going to hang around for 3 years just for that, i stayed a little longer then was moved to Peterborough to join an international event team to fill a space for the yard for two months (Jeanette Brakewell being the main jockey at the time). On returning home i ran a livery yard of my own for nearly two years. Till i decided i wanted a complete change and moved to Ireland for 9 months, again sticking with the horses, i learnt a different way of life and enjoyed every minute of it.
2000 i moved back to the U.K to rejoin my parents who had then moved to the beautiful countryside of Carmarthenshire, in South Wales, for which i still live and do what i do best and love the most, breaking, schooling and producing youngstock, some of which i compete and get them going to the best i can before i find the best homes for them.
Check out the transformation of some of them.
Enjoy!!
Trampus my second loaned pony he was 13.1hh taking me round the X Country at pony club camp at the age of 11.
Ha Ha me at 2yrs old just starting out on my first loaned pony Snowball
This was Montrachet (Monty) my first own horse standing at 15.1hh, i loved this horse dearly teaching me to really jump we even won a puissance together, this was over a big water jump in a derby i did when i was about 14.
